Artist Biography
Dave Thuemmel has been turning wood and turning heads with his stunning bowls and wooden art pieces. A life-long resident of Port Austin, Michigan. Dave returned to woodworking after retiring from farming. He taught himself to make bowls from green wood and now turns out a wide variety of objects - from salad bowls and salt and pepper grinders to objects ‘d art. Most of the woods that Dave uses come from the Port Austin, Michigan area.
